Outdoor ceiling lights are ideal for a carport, porch, veranda, or covered patio. They provide broad illumination without any fixtures protruding where you might bump your head.

What to look for

  • IP rating: IP44 is sufficient under a solid roof, but choose IP65 for an open area
  • Light colour: 3000K for a warm atmosphere at the outdoor dining table, 4000K for a carport or storage area
  • Fitting or LED: with a replaceable bulb, you can change it yourself; an integrated LED lasts 20,000 hours or more
  • Sensor: useful for a back door or utility room
