Ground spots

Ground spotlights are built into the paving, terrace or lawn. They illuminate a facade or path without the fixture itself being visible, and you can simply walk over them.

What to pay attention to

  • Protection rating: IP67 for an area where water can collect, IP65 in well-draining paving
  • Load-bearing capacity: choose a drive-over model if the spotlight is placed in a driveway
  • Saw cut size and installation depth: check these before cutting into the paving
  • Beam: a narrow beam against a facade creates a clean line of light, a wide beam illuminates the path

Always provide a gravel drainage layer under the spotlight to prevent it from sitting in water.
