Fairy lights

String lights create an atmosphere on your terrace, in your garden or across your facade. They are made for outdoor use, so they can stay up all season long.

What to look for

  • Length and number of bulbs: measure the span and add half a metre for each sag
  • Connectable: a connectable system makes it easy to extend later
  • Protection rating: IP44 is sufficient under a cover, IP65 for open-air use
  • Light sources: choose warm bulbs from 2200K to 2700K for the characteristic incandescent effect
